Asshole day

Landed in Chicago today. Walkin from K19 to G19. End to end of course. Because this is still the USA I walk on the tight side. Had three people that were walking opposit and would not yield. Well wife is not one trip, so they got shoulder and a piece if my redneck mind. All were foreigners except the mightier than me suit. 

Return flight cancelled. Changed to Usless Airlines 45 to get from terminal F to terminal C. Running through several terminals, a foreigner throws his long coat over his shoulder and slaps me right in the face as I am running by. Just made flight. 

Colgan air (United)

Getting on plane with one small bag with computer and a medium suit case. Stopped and told only one small item allowed on. Not one and one. The guy behind me calls her a bitch and gets kicked off the flight.

Then seeing as it is 5 am I ask for a cup of coffee. We do not serve coffee only cold drinks. Shitty flying gets shittier

Not as bad as I thought

Other than the cancellation scaring the hell out of me in the middle of the trip. The renumbering of the flight dis not affect my connections. There has to be a better system they can use

I guess when I have a good trip I should tell about it. Flight from Syracuse to Tucson was great

Another bad United trip

Going east through Denver and Chicago they cancel my Denver to Chicago flight while I am in the air to Denver. So I get to Denver and try to find the rebooked flight gate. Not on board. Gate agent says same flight changed number. So why the bullshit cancelation notice

Delta OK

Well Delta is a OK. By getting sucked into the elite system you strive to fly the same airline to get you status for the next year. This keeps you from experiencing services of other carriers. Great idea who ever came up with it. But we did have a great flight, large seats, took both dogs, one no charge wine because they did not have one for both of us. Did not charge for bag due to the fees on the dogs. Very friendly crew and counter employee.

Tucson to Syracuse

Well, in October I made reservations to go home for Christmas on United, I made them on the phone because United in the past only allows one dog per plane and of course I have two Yorkie's. The agent said not problem and made the reservations with the two dogs. I thought that the merger was changing the policy because Continental always allowed four dogs per plane.

At 11 PM I received a phone call from United that the Tucson to Washington flight was cancelled. It said push 1 for agent. I sat on the phone for one hour listening to the dam United song over and over again, I am not sure why they would put their jingle on while they piss you off so bad. Anyway I dialed the United customer service number went through all of the freaking questions and while transferring me to the agent i got a dial tone.

This happened five times before giving up at 12:30 Am. I figured I have not received any email or text notification and Tripit pro sis not change the status of the flight and they are usually fast maybe it is a technical glitch and the call was bogus...

Upon waking at 2:30 Am to go to the airport, I found a text on my phone that in fact the flight was cancelled. I dialed the customer service line and this time it went through after all of the questions. The agent looked at my flights and said he would be right back, 15 minutes listening to the jingle and getting pissed off on hold, he came back and said there was a problem on getting on a later United flight, I have tow dogs and United only puts one on a plane. I asked, was I not on a United flight that got canceled? He said yes but the agent made a mistake booking you with two dogs. God knows what would have happen when we got to the counter if the flight was not cancelled.

OK now what, he stated you must check one dog.... I am not checking a Yorkie, it will screw him up for future travel... and it is cruel. Then he said, you can not fly United.. Super pissed I said if they had told me that a month ago I would have booked another carrier.... He said that was my only choice... I stated then you will book it.. He said OK.

Well back on hold again for 20 minutes listening to that freaking jingle again. Finally he returns and says I can fly Delta, Not a Star Alliance member so I loose all my boarding , baggage , upgrade privileges.......I HATE FLYING
